Hey there! I’m Shavaunta Harris, the heart behind KC Scribes and the creator of From A Daughter’s Broken Heart, a Christian blog designed to encourage and uplift women in their faith journey. First and foremost, I’m a lover of Jesus, passionate about prayer, and dedicated to helping women grow spiritually. Whether I’m teaching, writing, or sharing encouragement, my mission is simple: to point others to God and help them walk boldly in His truth.

By day, I teach preschool (which means I have the patience of a saint and know all the best snacks). By night, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen whipping up something delicious, spending time with my amazing family, or dreaming about traveling the world one day. I also love journaling and getting lost in a good book—there’s just something about putting thoughts on paper and soaking in wisdom that fills my soul!
